Dead after 2 years!!! – T. W. Wasson – Buffalo, NY
TV bought in May 2008 – Today I'm going to turn it on (only after last night), and is not even on. I call Samsung, they gave me the plug from the overload protection and plug the wall – nothing. You ask me if it is connected to a computer – I do not say. Get all my data and the serial number and politely tell me that I am responsible for payment of repairs the TV failed because one of the internal components. I tell them I do not thinkequitable having regard I spent about $ 800 at the time to buy this TV and now I have to pay to fix the problem after just two years. They say there is nothing they can do and setting up a service ticket for me, and then decide if I can not pay once the TV repair service calls me to tell me how much more it will cost to repair in order to remedy this. I can tell you that I have already made a decision, and that is NEVER buy another Samsung product again. In front of my television, I had a Samsung DVD player is deadafter 2 years. So it seems that the average life expectancy of a product from Samsung is 2 years. For the money, I would say that is ridiculous. So there you go Samsung, have lost both a client and promoter. I will never stop, they all say, I know, do not buy your products.
TV stopped working after 2 years – Leslie E. Young – Canton, OH
We bought this as our second HDTV. It worked great for about two years, and then one day it would not turn on. Help for troubleshooting in the manual and on the website of Samsung had only one suggestion: make sure that the outlet works. Of course the warranty lasts only 90 days to pay after spending $ 900 on a TV, we were forced either to solve the problem or purchase a new television two years later. Television was a huge waste of money!
