With standard-definition TVs, the rule used to be that viewers would feel comfortable watching a set from a distance of 3 to 6 times the screen size in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is so much better that you can sit closer to a larger TV without noticing the pixels. So with HDTVs, the rule tends to be you can sit anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the screen size (in inches) for the best experience. If you know the size of the room you have already, where you want to sit, and where your new HDTV should go once you get it, you can figure out the size HDTV you should get. Minimum size = Viewing distance/3 Maximum size=Viewing distance/1.5

I recently purchased a LG Blu-ray, which includes streaming, since my TV does not have this feature, and I wanted to try. Because of my good experiences with this device, I recommend this TV a couple that I know that a 32 "TV wanted and interested in streaming. I expected the streaming features almost the same as the Blu-ray.

TV is pretty much what they wanted, but I was surprised that the streaming features were very different, whichImplementation of the LG Blu-ray. Particularly notable was the behavior of Netflix. On my installation, I can browse a wide selection of movies and TV shows streaming Netflix queue and add it to stream right of my screen. On this TV, but there is no navigation at all. Videos can be seen, of course, but only after adding the queue, but unfortunately the words are taken from a video queue on the computer connected to the site Netflix, with avery dark art. We need to find pass the cursor over the button "Play" with the video and select "Add to queue", which, if what the hardest part, because "is added and the queue is not visible until the cursor hovered over the button "Play". This is not explained anywhere in the literature is limited, and I had to learn by experimentation. Needless to say, the implementation of the Blu-ray to be far more convenient, especially if your computer does notsame room as the TV.

My friends who are not particularly savvy would have to stream without my help where it is disconcerting. I wonder how many potential buyers do not benefit from streaming capabilities. Another problem is always connected to the Internet first. In both Blu-ray and TV, there was no Internet connection until I realized that the automatic configuration of the server's default domain name does not work. AfterLogin with your ISP (Internet Service Provider) DNS to obtain information and access the device configuration is complete. The remote for this TV will not have much in the way of frills, and the lack of backlighting on probably frustrate some people who like to watch television in the dark. The design of the remote is pretty good, but fits well in hand, and the button layout is fairly intuitive for a user to use quickly to go to work without looking. 3 stars for a standard, solid from a distance.

The television said an impressive array of features, but poor image quality! If you have dynamicOdds on all the time and still dimming and brightening up just to get an acceptable and realistic to go black, so do not buy this record to say that I do not feel the first time

Remote is nice though, as you are the menu is surprisingly thin, but none of that really matters, if the picture is small

I would also buy audio and video btw OneCall Centre has a number of A-holes to satisfy their lines

Which reminds me of the LG customer service iscontrol is completely unnecessary and very AVOID!
