Attention to buy this item for use in the U.S. – our TV broke after 3 months and we can not have because it is a solid multi-system (standard and non-US), TV. Sony provides us with only phone numbers for suppliers in Asia and says that is all I can do, and dealers are Amazon, VCT has been no help. I'm not sure at this point if Sony warranty of any kind because we bought a foreigner inside the United States – which honestly do not even consider credit whenThe purchase of this multi-system TV. It is, as we are looking for a brand new TV and a lot of money. broke the TV was great – we loved the ability to see our Region 2 DVDs on it. Image quality was good and everything worked well, but then the gap in the middle of something, there was only a loud noise and popping the TV, and so began our many, many emails and phone calls to Sony VCT.
